Outstanding enjoyment in an unusual setting
The flora and fauna on the HAI-PARK’s 130 dunams (approx. 520 acres) of breathtaking parkland comprise Israel’s most beautiful outdoor zoo with over 1,000 individual animals from all over the world, plus exhibits simulating their natural habitats. The park features rich tropical vegetation, a beautiful swan lake, fountains, water plants arranged with a designer’s eye, wide pathways, easy access for wheelchairs, shady corners for sitting down to enjoy the view, lavatories, children’s play areas, and a a challenging play area for children with elephants and other animals crafted out of special African wood.
A huge amphitheatre/park is the perfect venue for spectacular outdoor performances, along with a mini-amusement park, children’s amusement games, a huge area with inflatables to jump and climb on as well as mechanical electric-powered rides, camel and pony rides, a meat restaurant, authentic Bedouin tent serving special coffee and traditional dishes, snackbars all through the park, zoo and amusement park areas.
During the week, the HAI-PARK draws thousands of visitors, local families and tourists, school groups coming for educational fun on class trips on which they learn how to observe animal life. Some of the themes for field trips include reducing violence, immigrant absorption, coexistence, which they learn through hands-on experience, in programs approved by Israel’s Ministry of Education.
